FAQ
Will XPEL Protection Film really stop rocks from chipping my vehicle?

Yes. It was originally design for highly demanding aeronautical applications (helicopter blades and aircraft propellers) to overcome stone chipping problems. Automotive protection is far less demanding as stone impact speeds are much slower.

There are instances where vehicles covered with XPEL have avoided damaged caused in accident situations. It was hit by a sheet of perspex while travelling on the freeway at 110kph.

The customer showed their XPEL dealer the damage and was delighted when they removed the XPEL film to reveal that the paintwork was undamaged! The owner was saved the inconvenience, lost time and costs involved in an insurance claim.
In general, any vehicle protected by XPEL film will retain higher resale value thanks to the improved appearance made possible by eliminating stone chips, insect residue and other marks and stains.
